News Events Seminars Each week a BASIC investigator or an invited investigator (from UCSF or other institutions) presents data on their most current and exciting research followed by a general discussion of the implications for head and spinal cord injury. Once per month, the seminar follows the morning Head Injury Clinic and focuses on problems related to head injury specifically. A wide range of folks participate in these sessions including clinical and basic investigators, clinical care personnel including social workers involved in providing continuity for these patients as they enter the community after leaving the hospital. These sessions are followed by a radiological review session of patients participating in the morning clinic. There is an interview on Science Café on the UCSF website with Michael S. Beattie and Jacqueline C. Bresnahan. Click here. There is also an article from the Oakland Register quoting Geoff Manley and and Jacqueline C. Bresnahan. Click Here.
